This shirt is from the Reston Runners Fall into Winter 10K on December 7, 2008.   I got two different shirts at this race and already wore the first one (see December 7 post).

Today I did a bike ride around Sugarloaf Mt.  I also applied the rule that says if you ride past Sugarloaf Mt. you should also go UP Sugarloaf Mt.  It was an excellent ride with good company (except for the solo effort up the mountain).  This shirt is from a winery that sits on Comus Rd. between the Comus Inn and Sugarloaf Mt. which made a good place to start and finish the ride.

So here is a pretty old shirt.  I'm not sure exactly what year I got this but its from a soccer league that I used to play in when I was in junior high.  I think we got the shirt big 'so that I could grow into it'.  Now its a bit on the small side but still technically fits.  The only shirt I have that could be older than this one is the March 1 smurf shirt although I may just declare this one the winner!

Here is another old shirt.  This one is from a tennis tournament that I played in in 1983 -- the Coon Rapids Open!  We used to play tennis against a guy whose name we could not pronounce, and definitely not spell, but it sounded something like 'boy-oily'.  He may have been our nemesis in this tournament.

On this date in 2007 I ran the Cascades 10K in Sterling, VA.  This was another hot, humid and more hilly than I expected 10K.  The fire engines at the finish line were the only cool thing about the race.

Today I did the Jim McDonnell lake swim in Reston, VA.  The creature on the shirt is a turtle as opposed to a honu or a terrapin because the event was not in Hawaii or Maryland.

On this date in 2007 Jodi and I did the Capitol Hill Classic 10K.  It's a fun course that tours an area of DC between the Capitol and RFK stadium that does not seem to have as much road race activity as the mall area.

On this date in 2008 I did the Columbia Triathlon.  This was definitely one of the best Columbia Tri shirts.

Today I did the Columbia Triathlon (1.5K swim, 40K bike and 10K run) and here is the shirt.  I must say I'm not a huge fan of the color but on the other hand I do not think I have another shirt of this color which says a lot...  Congrats to everyone else out there who did the race!

Here is a shirt that I got in California after doing the Run Santa Barbara Turkey Trot.  The race directors were getting rid of extra race shirts (for free) so I grabbed this one from the April 21, 2001 Chardonnay Ten Miler.

Here is the shirt from this year's Kinetic Triathlon race weekend.   Saturday's race was a half ironman distance: I did the half marathon running leg of a relay team.  Today's race was a sprint distance (750m swim, 18mile bike, 5k run).  I got two shirts out of the deal ... the other one will appear later!
