Here is another older-than-dirt shirt.  This one is definitely from the 1980s and sports the O'Brien skis logo (as in water skiing).  This was one of my favorite and most worn shirts of that era.

This shirt is from the Frederick Half Marathon on the April 29/30 weekend in 2006.  This is the first half of the Maryland double-double (second half is the Baltimore half marathon), which Jodi completed last year.

On this date back in 1998 I did a triathlon on campus at UNC Chapel Hill.  It was a pool swim and then a bike ride on the local roads and a 5k run to finish things off.

This is a shirt from the Big Sur Marathon held on April 27, 2003.  This is an excellent marathon with great scenery as the course runs along the Pacific Ocean basically from Big Sur to Monterey, CA.

This is a shirt from St. Olaf in 1987.  Wellstock was some sort of fitness event -- I cannot remember if the shirt is from a 5K race or just some other activity.  Anyway, Wellstock ... for the health of it!

Spring gets us back into multi-sport season.  This shirt is from the Frederick Biathlon (run, bike, run).  This race was on April 21, 1996.

Here is a shirt that I got at Boston University, where Rachael goes to school.  The BU section along the marathon course was one definitely one of the loudest parts of the course and it was fun to see Jodi and Rachael out cheering at the 23 mile mark!

Today's shirt is from the 113th Boston Marathon which was held today (bling added for extra effect).  It was excellent weather for runners and spectators.  The spectators along the course once again were amazing.  If you wanted a train of high-fives you could run along the side of the road.  If you want some peace and quite while you run don't do Boston.

Here is a shirt from the USO Defenders Ten Miler on May 7, 2000.  This was an excellent race that I think is no longer running.

Here is a shirt from the 111th Boston Marathon on April 16, 2007.  This was the year a nor-easter came through and make the race really wet and windy.  The crowd support was still amazing!

Here is a fun shirt that Jodi found for me in Charlottesville, VA yesterday.  Apparently there was a charity tennis-ball golf tournament on the lawn at UVA hosted by Chi Omega and this was the shirt.

Today I ran the Charlottesville Ten Miler.  This is another excellent race.  Tough but fun course with lots of local support in the form of musical groups and neighborhood festivities.  The post-race free head of lettuce was a new one.
